Kentik: Winner of Inaugural Go Ignite Global Start-up Call

Global Telecom Alliance Recognizes Kentik for Big Data Network Analytics Solution

SAN FRANCISCO – July 19, 2016 – Kentik, the network traffic intelligence company, today announced that it has been selected as one of five winners of the inaugural call for start-ups launched by Go Ignite, an alliance between four major telcos, at Mobile World Congress 2016.

The Go Ignite call for start-ups drew over 142 applications from the global start-up community. The winners were selected from the following categories: cyber security, big data analytics, content delivery and for customer experience enhancement.

Go Ignite named Kentik as a winner for its Kentik Detect cloud-based platform, which enables access to billions of possible network analyses operating on trillions of instantly accessible data records, along with traffic flow visualizations and support for network performance metrics.

The partners of the Go Ignite alliance – Deutsche Telekom (hub:raum), Orange (Orange Fab), Singtel (Singtel Innov8), and Telefónica (Telefónica Open Future_) will provide Kentik and the other four winners of with business development opportunities. In addition, each start-up will receive support such as mentoring expertise, contacts, facilities, potential investment and access to a combined market of over one billion mobile customers across five continents.
